Behind the images

I was born in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, and discovered photography as a teenager when my father bought a camera for our family. What began as a simple hobby quickly blossomed into a true passion.

After a long hiatus, I rediscovered photography with the advent of affordable digital cameras.
Living in Jakarta, I am drawn to the beauty of everyday urban life. Street photography allows me to capture ordinary moments, with people often at the heart of my images. I love working with vibrant colors, though I sometimes explore black and white.
Today, I primarily shoot digitally, but I still occasionally take out my old film cameras on the streets of Jakarta.
