Behind the images

I'm a fine art landscape photographer based in South Yorkshire, England, working under the name Diado Photography.

My photography is driven by a fascination with the relationship between light, landscape and atmosphere. I'm particularly drawn to dramatic skies, changing weather, and the quieter, often overlooked details of the natural world.

Through my photographs, I aim to capture more than simply the appearance of a place - I want to convey something of the mood, emotion and experience of being there.

Much of my work explores the landscapes of northern England and Wales, from rugged coastlines and open moorland to mountains and ancient woodland.
